Reliable as always

This was my third time getting a license from AnyNode, this time for a Multi-Tenancy License for a new project. Just like before, the process was smooth from order to receiving the key. I appreciate that their software consistently performs as expected; the Call Routing Engine is rock-solid. I've used their products for a few years now, and they always deliver on stability and features. It's why I keep coming back.

Fair value for features

I needed the Azure Deployment option for our cloud setup and was looking for the best deal. I got the standard license and felt the price was reasonable for what it offered, especially with the TLS Encryption and SRTP Security included. It definitely felt worth the investment for the security and integration capabilities. Didn't find any public discounts, but the base price was competitive.

Easy to get going

I got the Windows SBC version for testing things out. It was pretty straightforward to download and install. Didn't have any big issues, everything just worked like it said it would. Good stuff.

Good product, setup had a hitch

I purchased the Virtual Edition for VMware and it's been working well for our Microsoft Teams Direct Routing. The features are robust, especially the SIP Header Manipulation, which really helped fine-tune our setup. Delivery of the license key was quick. My only minor gripe was that the initial setup documentation for a specific scenario wasn't super clear, but support eventually helped me out after a couple of emails. Overall, satisfied.

I'm looking at anynode but also considering AudioCodes. Anyone have experience with both and can tell me which one's easier to manage daily?

J Julia Y. 1 month ago
I've used both. anynode's management console is pretty intuitive, especially if you're coming from a Windows background. AudioCodes can feel a bit more hardware-centric.

anynode for sure, especially if you're into software-only solutions. The whole 'management console' thing is pretty sweet for handling multiple instances.

Does anyone know if anynode offers trials? I wanna test it out with our specific setup before committing.

D Dan M. 2 months ago
Yep, they do evaluation licenses. You can usually get one from their site, lets you kick the tires for a bit.

P Paula Ito 2 months ago
For sure. I grabbed a free trial license last month to test some SIP trunking stuff. Just fill out a form on their website.

How do licenses work with anynode? Is it like a yearly subscription or a one-time purchase thing with maintenance?

S Shane Y. 2 months ago
It's a licensing model, so you get a key that unlocks features. You'll usually have a maintenance license too for updates and support, which you renew.

S Steve Reyes 2 months ago
You buy a base license then add features with other licenses, all activated by keys. Maintenance is separate and needed for ongoing support/updates, afaik.

My company is a non-profit. Does anynode do any special pricing for non-profits or is it just standard enterprise rates?

R Rachel 2 months ago
I think they have non-profit pricing, but you usually have to reach out directly to their sales or a partner to get details. It's not advertised broadly.

P Paula B. 2 months ago
Yeah, pretty sure I saw something about academic and non-profit discounts. Best bet is to contact them, it's probably not a public coupon code kinda deal.

Does anynode have any kind of developer license for building integrations, or is it just evaluation licenses?

R Rachel E. 1 month ago
They do offer a developer license. It's specifically for that kind of integration work.

D Daisy 1 month ago
I'm pretty sure I saw something about a developer license. It's not just trials; they have specific licenses for partners or devs working on custom stuff.

Thinking of moving our call center to a new VoIP system. Is anynode good for high availability? Don't want any downtime.

L Laura 2 months ago
They have a High Availability Cluster option. That's what you'd want for a call center, keeps things running if one server goes down.
3
L Lisa S. 1 month ago
Definitely. The HA cluster feature is built for that. It's designed to keep your comms up and running even if something fails. Pretty robust for critical stuff.

Hey guys, thinking about getting anynode for my company. How's the setup process for Teams Direct Routing? Is it pretty straightforward or a huge headache?

A Amber 2 months ago
It's pretty smooth actually. They're certified by Microsoft so everything's kinda designed to play nice together. Documentation is decent too.

C Cleo Ito 2 months ago
Yeah, I've done a couple of deployments. If you're familiar with SBCs already, it's not bad. If not, maybe budget some time for their support or a partner.

Does anynode support deployment on AWS or Azure? We're a cloud-first company.

D Daisy Kaur 2 months ago
Yep, they explicitly list Azure and AWS deployment options. Also Google Cloud, so you're covered for major cloud providers.

M Mark 2 months ago
Totally, they're designed for cloud deployments. We run ours in Azure without issues. Makes it super flexible.
